WELCOME TO 720Z

Welcome to the wild world of 720Z, A new hip hop, ghetto-tech and hardcore punk label founded by CX KIDTRONIK. Following on CX's previous collaborative LPs, 720Z launches into the stratosphere with "Krak Killz" a collaboration with CX and Brooklyn rapper Sav Killz with the first single "Ham Sandwich" featuring Sadat X.

 KRAK KILLZ encompasses the true essence of east coast Hip Hop culture. Produced by The Shadow Company in Brooklyn, many legends grace the projects otherworldly cast from Sadat X to Kool Keith, DJ Swamp to Killah Priest, Cappadonna, The RZA and more. KRAK KILLZ brings something fresh yet nostalgic for the Hip Hop heads, delivering BARS! 720Z is proud to present a fierce slab of street music for the times.

CX KIDTRONIK

DJ / producer CX KIDTRONIK has been credited as being one of the most eclectic DJs in the world, spinning an incredibly wide array of styles and sounds.  A new member of the recently reformed group Atari Teenage Riot, he also counts Kanye West, Girl Talk and Saul Williams among his biggest fans (and collaborators.) “He is a character,” says former tour-mate Trent Reznor. “He’s also one of those guys, when he’s around, things start to happen.”

 

CX KiDTRONiK has been living and DJing for over 20 years in New York City, while playing major festivals on almost every continent.  He's played for over 18,000 people opening for Rage Against The Machine in Paris. In addition to being resident DJ at Brooklyn's famous Frank's Lounge, he has also played The Brooklyn Museum, Terminal 5, House Of Blues, APT,  Bowery Ballroom and Santos Party House. Highlights include a legendary Saturday Warm-Up set at PS-1, continuing to rock the crowd of 4,000 after pouring rain began while he spun The B52's "Rock Lobster." His recording credits include producing records with Grammy Award winning artists Kanye West, John Legend, Trent Reznor, as well as Lords Of Acid, Lady Miss Kier of Dee-Lite,  MF DOOM, Antipop Consortium, and the late RAMM:ELL:ZEE.

Now with his new label alongside hip hop drum n bass heavyweight KILLBREAK,  CX KIDTRONIK plans to offer unreleased and archival recordings spanning over 30 years of his artistic legacy.
